Money Cares begins with Gratitude

The Money Cares Committee would like to send out a big “Thank You” to the members and alternates of the Sunday Counters Teams. Suzanne Dreith has been the coordinator of the Sunday Counters Teams, setting up the calendar year to year; writing procedures for counters to follow and counters’ deposit form to streamline the process for counting. An amazing statistic we have noticed: the counter teams and alternates total about one-third of the congregation! 

Also, thank you to the Stewardship Committee: Elfie Nadell, Steven Brinegar, Larry Hinkle, Liz Wise, Jackie Tway, and Elizabeth and Jim Roghair. This committee met regularly, drafted the commitment letter, worked with Elizabeth, our treasurer, to draft the 2025 budget, put together a new picture board of WPC events, and sponsored the Stewardship Luncheon. Through their work and efforts, Westminster saw an increase of 8% in pledges over 2024!

We appreciate the time and talents of all involved in the Money Cares Committee: Suzanne Dreith, Kent DeYoung, David Ytuarte, Larry Hinkle, Jackie Tway, Treasurer Elizabeth Roghair, Bookkeeper Maria Romero, and Rev. Madeline.
