Madeline grew up as a preacher's kid in San Francisco and Minneapolis, deeply embedded in both congregations. She attended Grinnell College in IA, with a B.A. in Mathematics and Anthropology, and served in Logan, UT as an AmeriCorps Vista Volunteer. She received her M.Div at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
In November of 2020, Madeline began her called ministry here at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Santa Fe. In addition to her work at Westminster, she serves on the Commission on Ministry of the Presbytery of Santa Fe, and is a member of the Interfaith Leadership Alliance. She also serves on the board of the Presbyterian Historical Society.
Madeline lives on the south-side of Santa Fe with her large white dog, and enjoys knitting, hiking, and quiet mornings with a cup of tea, though she spends most of her time renovating her house.
